CHAC Training Programs

CHAC is a sought-after placement for Marriage Family Therapy (MFT) candidates, Master of Social Work (MSW) students, and doctoral-level psychology graduate students for internship and practicum.

As an intern at CHAC, you will learn while providing services to youth and their families at the local elementary, middle, and high school campuses. You will also provide services to youth, adults, couples, and families at our in-house clinic.

All clinical work is done under the supervision and mentoring of our highly skilled and experienced clinical staff who supervise and train using various theories and modalities.

As an intern, you will receive individual supervision, group supervision, and you will learn new skills by attending weekly didactic trainings and presentations.

In addition, CHAC offers a Latino/Bilingual Training Program that is an integral part of the Spanish-speaking services provided by CHAC to members of our community. Throughout your training, you will raise your proficiency in Spanish and learn the clinical use of the language. Supervision in Spanish is available.

CHAC's Doctoral Internship is accredited by the American Psychological Association.
