You’ve seen the headlines. Children today have more to think about than just the amount of homework their teachers have assigned. At the top of their worry lists are violence, gangs and substance abuse.
CHAC’s mission is provide alternatives to self-destructive behavior, and to help create healthy lives for the children and families of Mountain View, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, and surrounding communities.
We now find an increasingly important element in our counseling is listening to frightened children, offering them positive ways to deal with their fears and give them tools and personal strength to cope.
We provide this counseling without regard to their families’ ability to pay.
We depend on contributions to keep our much-needed programs and services functioning.
Your gift is tax-deductible. CHAC is a qualified 501(c)(3) organization.
More importantly, by helping you’ll have the satisfaction of adding to the health and well-being of our school children teenagers, and families.
